Inpatient is a short-term, 24-hour intensive treatment program provided in a safe and secure hospital setting. It includes 24-hour nursing care and daily provider visits not available on an outpatient basis.
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a therapeutic and recovery-focused program. PHP is a viable alternative to 24-hour inpatient hospitalization for those who need intensive support outside of a traditional hospital setting. Treatment involves a combination of behavioral and holistic therapies, wellness education, recreational activities and medication management. Holistic therapies include yoga, art therapy, music therapy and pet therapy.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a step-down from partial hospitalization, and provides structured therapy three days a week. Patients typically spend 9–12 hours per week in the program. On-site group therapy, education, training and skill building may be offered as part of intensive outpatient treatment.
